The service
Busul lets you write a letter, attach it to a flight, and have it delivered to a recipient you choose only if you do not confirm your safe landing within the window you set. If you confirm, nothing is sent and the letter goes back to sleep.
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use busul.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide a working email address, since email is how we ask you to confirm your landing. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for making sure your recipients' contact details are correct.
How delivery works
We track the flights you register using third-party flight data. When your flight lands, we notify you and start your confirmation window. If the window passes without confirmation, the letter is delivered to your recipient.
You can edit or cancel a letter, or extend your window, at any time before delivery. Once a letter has been delivered it cannot be recalled.
What busul is not
Busul is a message delivery service, not an emergency or safety service:
- We do not notify authorities, airlines, or emergency services.
- Delivery of a letter is not confirmation that anything happened to you; it only means you did not confirm in time.
- A letter is not a legal will or testament. For legally binding instructions, talk to a lawyer.
Payments and refunds
Single-flight purchases are charged when you schedule the flight. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, which you can do at any time and keep access until the end of the period. The lifetime plan is a one-time payment.
If we fail to track a flight you paid for, we will refund that flight. Refunds for other cases are handled reasonably; write to us.
Acceptable use
Do not use busul to send content that is illegal, threatening, or harassing, or to impersonate someone else. We can suspend accounts that break this rule, refunding any unused paid period.
Limits of liability
We work hard to make delivery reliable, but we depend on flight data providers, email infrastructure, and networks we do not control. Busul is provided as-is, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
